We recommend that you visit our office every six months for a dental cleaning and exam. These regular checkups allow us to monitor your oral health and provide prompt treatment for any problems that may develop. Depending on your individual needs, our dentist may recommend that you visit more frequently.
When you receive a dental cleaning and exam, we will:
- Thoroughly clean your teeth to remove any plaque and tartar (calculus) from your tooth surfaces
- Floss your teeth to remove plaque from between your teeth
- Polish your teeth
- Examine your teeth and mouth for signs of decay, gum disease or other dental conditions
Our team may also take dental X-rays to check for cavities and other problems that are developing or are in areas where we cannot easily see them.
